Info I have found about the Apex ADV-3800: To display the version - 1) Turn on the unit 2) Press SETUP 3) Press the right arrow four times to get to the Preferences menu 4) Enter 1369 5) The version and sub-version are displayed. My version is 03.01.05.06 with a Sub-Version 02.00.04.00 I also have confirmed that the player contains the following: Mediatek MT379GE chip. Mediatek MT1336E chip. ST MicroElectronics M29W8900DT chip. All chips are soldered to the MB - no socketed chips. I have tried all the hacks at - http://www.cosmic450.com/mediatek/hacks.htm - for the MediaTek 1379 chipset, but none have worked. Anyone else have any luck? | |||
