To change the region code: 1. Make sure there is not a DVD in the drive 2. Power on the device 3. Press Setup on the remote control 4. Hit the right arrow key three times to scroll to the "preferences" tab 5. Hit "1379" on the remote control 6. Use the up/down arrow keys to select the region code 7. Press play | |||

I used the method described above, and it worked like a charm. I am now able to select various regions. I didnt think that the hack worked at first, because it still showed "USA" as selection, and not "0" or something, but when I select the country now, it will let me change it around. | |||

FYI: It's worth noting that you MUST be on the "preferences" section of the setup menu when you hit 1379. If you're on any other section of the setup menu and you enter the code, you will not be able to use the up/down arrows to change the region code. You will see the region code, but not be able to change it. | |||
