New model with Ziva-5 chipset is already region free by default. Check with no disc inside and then press 7,7, PLAY (or ENTER or SELECT). Country Code = 0. If you set OP PROH ON = 0 you will be able to skip warnings and trailers at the beginning of dvds. Seems to be Macrovision free, too. | |||

This hack is only for the Amstrad 2320 with ESS ES6018F chipset, already region free (0). In order to set another country code, follow this: - turn power on (of course...) - press "eject" - press "display" - press "1", "1", "1", "1" ( four times 1) - press "select" - press "0" (for region free), or "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6" (for the different regional codes) You can check the change by following the usual sequence: "menu", "1", "3", "5", "7" (info screen) Have fun! |
