Ratboy ALMOST got it right: - OPEN TRAY FIRST (use eject button on remote). Leave tray open throughout the next few steps! - Power On the AD150XU, use the remote control and press 9735 - Use the direction buttons, select REGION - Use the direction buttons to choose the zone then press the enter button (test 0 means all zone). - Finally, choose Exit Setup. BTW thanks Ratboy for pointing us in the right direction! | |||

Just to comment on the above 2 hacks, I just tried with my DVD player, putting it to 0 (which shows as test/region free) and it seemed to work, the disc started to load, but then a comment came up from the disc, NOT the player saying the region was not formatted for this player. The DVD was just season 1 of Burn Notice which was region 1, so I went back and changed the region to the correct one for the DVD, and it works fine now. So if you try and it doesn't seem to work, try using the actual region code ! |
