just brought one of these today from Argos and the below region hack worked. Power on the DVD player. Open the tray. Key in 5168 on the remote. A secret menu should appear which lets you change the region as well as showing you the firmware revision and other settings. Set it to region 0 also I put one of my dvd-rw's in to try and didnt realise it had a couple of xvid films on and they played so tried other one and found out plays if sound is mp3 encoded. still a bonus tho. | |||
