1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray. 2. Close tray. 3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM) 4. Reconnect to mains 5. Turn on player with remote. 6. Press ENTER on remote. 5. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9. 7. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open) 8. Switch off power from remote, then switch back on. 9. Player is now Region Free. | |||

This is the region free hack for this particular 7.1 bluray home theater set. 1) Power on the unit ( doesnt matter if using remote or power button on the set itself ) 2) Ensure there is No Disc in the player 3) Samsung Logo screen shows up 4) Press ENTER (on remote), then the number 84269, then Press ENTER (on remote) again. 5) You will see 'FREE' on the top left hand corner of the Samsung Screen. 6) That's it!!!! you have a dvd region free player! Cheer's! Note, this works on region 3 player's. no idea if it works on US or UK sets. | |||
