	Hi everyone, after a little bit of research here is a method to unlock this sleek dvd player: 1.- Without any disc in the tray turn on your player 2.- Wait until the sign “no disc” shows up in the left up corner of the screen 3.- Press “info” button in the remote (“no disc” should disappear from the left up corner) 4.- Press in the remote the code corresponding to your region R1 - 29334 R2 - 38767 R3 - 56732 R4 - 76884 R5 - 53814 R6 – 24462 5.- The number of your region should appear in the left up corner of your screen 6.- Press the button “9” in the remote 7.- Press the button “repeat” (is under the number 6) in the remote 8.- Turn off your dvd player After this you should be able to play any dvd in your player, I already try it and its works fine, have to give it a couple of tries but after it works like a charm, so you can now reproduce divx, Xvid, any dvd of any region, mp3, jpeg, so enjoy. 	Hi, This hack did not work for me. I have firmware ver.080218.10.D.F1080XEG and region 1. I have tried similar hacks (repeat, open/close etc..) for other Samsung DVD's but notthing has worked. I tried to find older F/W on Samsung's homepage but couldn't find any F/W, new or old so I can not downgrade the F/W and use the hack. Any idea anyone?

	Maybe if you try the same steps but with a diferent code, mine worked after a few trys with that codes, but in other pages I had read that for the region 2 player is a diferent code, good luck with the hack, I'll do some research if there any differnt sets of region codes

	The above hack did not work for me, because "No Disc" did not disappear when I pressed info.

	I now have the firmware as a .rar file if anyone needs it. Used properly and then with the instructions at the top of the page - it worked fine for me. If you need it - send me your email address and i'll get back within a day or two.

	Hi, the above hack worked for me... But the code 38767 didn't work for me in region 2. I used the code 57538 instead, which I found somewhere else. Good luck!
