1. Use the remote that came with the player to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it. 2. Press the Activity button "Panasonic MR" and the remote will send the 10 hack commands in sequence. 3. If all works ok the Blu Ray player will reboot When its finished it will not actually tell you its region free, just simply try it with different region DVDs. | |||

The One For All hack for the DMP BD35 works for this player. I used a Kameleon 8 URC-8308 Set up the DVD button on the Remote to control the player using code 0490. The instructions on how to do this will be in the "One For All" manual. Then program keys 0-9 with the remote control codes below. Again follow the manual to do this. "One For All" refers to this as "Key Magic" key 1, code 00191 key 2, code 00120 key 3, code 00065 key 4, code 00180 key 5, code 00143 key 6, code 00155 key 7, code 00122 key 8, code 00117 key 9, code 00129 key 0, code 00123 Switch on DVD player, make sure theirs no disc in it. Press the One For All Remote buttons in the following sequence with about a second pause between presses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 The Blu Ray player will reboot, (basically switch off and then back on) Pop in a region 1 disc and it should work fine | |||

This hack for the Panasonic DMP-BD 80 using the One For All Kameleon also works for the Panasonic DMR-BS 750 Blu Ray recorder/freesat/hdd unit region free for DVD playback ONLY. I tried this hack this afternoon with my OFA Kameleon 4 as an experiment and lo and behold player rebooted and played a R1 dvd faultlessly. | |||

Just send the code mentioned above using the remote that came with the device. While pressing POWER, use the number pad to send all digits and it will shut down. When you turn it on again, it is region free. | |||

BD80U (USA version) to play a Region B Bluray disc one time 1. Play the disc and wait for "Plays in Region B Players Only" warning screen 2. Press Stop - the player's blue screen appears. 3. Enter 288 with the remote -the numbers will appear on screen. 4. A screen change might appear here. 5. Enter 071 with the remote - the numbers will appear on screen. 6. Press Play | |||
