	1- Open Setup menu 2- Go to Lock subMenu 3- Select Area Code(if you didn't set the password before, set it now) 4- Choose the abbreviation of a country that is in the desired region Worked for me and didn't warn anything about a maximum number of changes.

	I don't think the above changes the region of the player. From what I understand, some movie segments are banned in certain areas of the world. Depending on the country selected via the method above, those segments would be skipped if applicable. Best regards, Big C

	My BD670 is region 1, I have dvds both region 1 and 4. Before i changed this my region 4 dvds couldnt be played in the bd player, now they can... Problem solved for me at least.

	Just like to comment that I just tried on my LG BD670 this November 2020, and it did NOT work. I can select a country like US on the mentioned menu option, but when I insert a region 1 only DVD I still get the error about the wrong region, I did turn off and on after each change in case is a matter of reading some initialization file or something. My Blu Ray was bought in Mexico and has a Region 4 label on the back.
