DVDFab HD Decrypter is a simple version of DVDFab DVD Copy and Blu-ray Copy. It copies entire DVD/Blu-ray movie to hard drive, and removes all the DVD protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) and part of Blu-ray protections while copying. NOTE! The decryption, DVD to HDD and Blu-ray to HDD, is FREE, if you want more features then it's a trialware. Can ONLY rip DVDs and Blu-rays released before 2018, only with limited copy modes and conversion profiles.

Used to be quite good, but crashes in my systems now and it was never free by the way!

There's no free stuff on DVDFab Decrypter 12.0.5.8, as soon as one is about to start the one and only alleged "free" copy option, and of a disc that is from well before 2018, it asks the user to buy more SW, canceling that "offer" also cancels the free copy function, ie. not usable.

users who find their ripping efforts blocked by a "buy or renew DVDFab "DVD Copy" or you can wait for new version of DVDFab HD Decrypter." popup beyond the "freeware" trial period, may be interested to know that a fresh install of version 9 of the software will rip many of the affected disks (in fact, all those that i have so far tested).
