AviSynth is a powerful tool for video post-production. It provides ways of editing and processing videos. AviSynth works as a frameserver, providing instant editing without the need for temporary files. AviSynth itself does not provide a graphical user interface (GUI), but instead relies on a script system that allows advanced non-linear editing. While this may at first seem tedious and unintuitive, it is remarkably powerful and is a very good way to manage projects in a precise, consistent, and reproducible manner. Huffyuv is a very fast, lossless Win32 video codec. "Lossless" means that the output from the decompressor is bit-for-bit identical with the original input to the compressor. "Fast" means a compression throughput of up to 38 megabytes per second on my 416 MHz Celeron. Read the readme.txt in the zip file how to install it.
LAME is a MP3 encoder and the Lame ACM MP3 is an ACM codec that you can use in most applications for example in Virtualdub(to install the ACM codec just extract all files and right click on the LameACM.inf and select Install). The purpose of ReClock Directshow Filter is to definitely get rid of jerky playback of video material(AVI, MKV, DVD, Blu-ray, etc) on a PC or a PC connected to a TV or Projector. Reclock can also fix the so called PAL Speedup. It's a DirectShow filter which is loaded in place of the default directsound audio renderer.

SubExtractor converts subtitles from DVDs and PGS (Bluray .sup) files into Advanced Substation Alpha (ASS) or SRT text format using a simple OCR. Extract subs from (non-encrypted, on hard drive) DVDs and convert to Advanced Substation Alpha format. It can also convert sup (PGS) and sub/idx formats to same. GOPchop is an open source tool for losslessly cutting and merging hardware-encoded MPEG2 video files. It limits cuts to I-frames or group-of-picture (GOP) boundaries, thereby preventing artifacts and degradation of quality by not needing to re-encode. GOP boundaries occur frequently enough (especially at scene boundaries), that GOPchop's method is quite suitable for many applications. FLV Splitter is a FLV decoder/splitter. Flash Video (".FLV" extension) is the format used to display video in Flash content.
