Universal Media Server is a DLNA-compliant UPnP Media Server. It was originally based on PS3 Media Server by shagrath. UMS was started by SubJunk, an official developer of PMS, in order to ensure greater stability and file-compatibility. Universal Media Server supports all major operating systems, with versions for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The program streams or transcodes video, audio and image formats with little or no configuration. It is powered by FFmpeg, MEncoder, tsMuxeR, MediaInfo and more, which combine to offer support for a wide range of media formats. NOTE! Early Releases requires a Patreon subscription.

Summary
This release improves browsing/scanning speed and fixes some important bugs.
We have also stopped releasing x86 Windows builds, because only about 0.1% of the internet is on x86 Windows. If you want us to bring them back, please leave a comment, we don't want to inconvenience anyone.
v15 is coming along nicely. We are working on our GUI and our support integration, since those get mentioned in articles as our weak points. We will post some screenshots and release a feature preview soon.
This release is available via our Patreon page, and will be available here when the next release happens.

The new version is really bad, I can no longer watch movies I have on my computer through my ps4. I uninstalled and went back to version 9.8.0.
