| I've has this DVD writer in my laptop for 2 weeks now, works fine, BUT: programs like AnyDVD and DVD Region Free don't work with this drive (or at least with 65 percent of protected DVD movies), so if you wan't to copy protected DVD's using AnyDVD or DVD Region Free, don't buy this drive.
