Works Great! Just bought 4 more for work and one 716UF(external) for a laptop. Plextor has been very reliable for me. Comments posted by TheWizard from United States, June 15, 2005. Rated this writer 9 of 10. |

I just got my Taiyo Yuden 8X disk today (YUDEN000-T02-00) This drive burns them at 16X flawlessly. Plextor rocks ! Comments posted by Jan Klincewicz from United States, March 11, 2005. Rated this writer 10 of 10. |

So far, this is the only SATA DVD writer I have seen, and since I wanted to expunge all IDE devices from my new dualie, it was my only choice. It has performed well so far, burning my 48X CD media and 8X DVDs. Very fast. The proof will be when I get my YUDEN000-T02-00 (Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD+R) and see f they burn at 16X as they are supposed to. Plextor says they burn RECOMMENDED 8X MEDIA at 16X, then neglect to tell you WHAT media they recommend will work !!! Comments posted by phillyjazz from United States, March 09, 2005. Rated this writer 8 of 10. |
