Fast, reliable, burns most brand DVD+R/RWs and CD-R/RWs I've tried (Memorex, Maxell, GQ). Has problems with GQ 2.4xDVD+RW (cheap Fry's store brand). Burnt DVDs work fine with my Philips and (old) GE player. Comments posted by ronojoy from United States, September 21, 2004. Rated this writer 8 of 10. |

Don't use Memorex CDR or DVD's, same with Imation. So far Verbatum is only media I have tried that works in my DVD players (CD-R & DVD+R) playbacks. Not sure why al media works fine with my Sony and not this device. Comments posted by ed from United States, August 25, 2004. Rated this writer No rating. |

bought this because of the faster speed but it runs slower with the same media as my Sony. It also does not burn some DVD's well. A memorex DVD burns fine in my Sony but will not play in my Home DVD if burned on the Pacific Digital. I suspect a media/laser compatibity issue. Will try other media. Attepts to contact Pacific for help have gone unasnwered so far. I should of stuck with Sony.. Comments posted by Ed from United States, August 24, 2004. Rated this writer 5 of 10. |
