Purchased from Newegg.com and played/backedup some blu-ray movies and burned a few Memorex BD-R 25GB discs just fine. I'm not yet sure how to find the correct official firmware update on the LG site. BD-R media used: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmediadvdridsearch=RITEK-BR3-000 LG website page: http://www.lgsolutions.com/products/digital-storage/optical-disc-drives/blu-ray-drives-internal/wh12ls38-blu-ray-disc-rewriter-internal-sata-12x-super-multi-blue-lightscribe Comments posted by petesimon from United States, January 02, 2012.
