| Works great on my OS X 10.6.8 MacBook1,1 via USB. Sometimes, it's like the drive powers down (eject button doesn't wake it) and you have to unplug the power cord behind the drive and plug it back in to wake it up. Otherwise, works great. Rips a (Full 4.33GB) DVD disk is less than 8 minutes. LightScribe works great, look for LaCie LightScribe Labeler on MacUpdate.com to use the LS feature of the drive, don't worry, you don't need to have a LaCie DVD burner.
