| The box says it supposed to write 8x BD-R DL but it doesn't. I've used Verbatim 6x BD-R DL disks and have made three coasters one using Nero and two using Windows 7 explorer. I was able to burn to the BD-R disk that came with the drive. When I called LG (I never could get them to return my emails) they told me it was discontinued and they never did update the original firmware.
