| i haven't had any problems: its brand new ,i really does what it says on paper. i just learned how to backup a blue ray dvd.this burns all the formats, with the right software it WILL burn the media. you could use other software ,i use nero 9 it works very well.it records on all the formats of media: BD-R,BD-RDL,BD-RE,DVD-R,DVD-DL,DVD-RW,DVD+R,DVD+RW,DVD-RAM CD-R,CD-RW,IT HAS A NEW FEATURE DUALDISC,ONE SIDE FOR IS DVD RECORDING,THE OTHER SIDE AUDIO CD RECORDING ,ITS A DOUBLE SIDED DISC.I HAVENT FOUND NOT THIS KIND OF MEDIA but IM SEARCHING FOR IT ON the INTERNET.i havent had any errors on any of my recordings yet.this pioneer is worth buying, make sure you have a 500gb harddrive for backing up large images and files.its an excellent blu-ray writer.it cost me $225.00.
