I have bad experiences with this writer: I also have the IBM Thinkpad Ultrabay 2000 version. The drive was broken before I had used it too often; I got it replaced by IBM for free, but it took a long time. I just bought Memorex DVD-R and they do not work, also the drive does not *read* DVD+R, which is annoying. Comments posted by Erich Schubert from United States, February 07, 2005.
