| this recorder is fitted into Toshiba laptop stellite A45 -S250. I get many problems in writing in different media and its difficult to get suitable media.Surely, the pioneer electronics will soon come up with update firmware to sort out the problems. | I have this drive installed in my Prostar laptop.... I am having all kinds of problems writing to newer DVD's,, I am trying all kinds of different top quality disks, but all I am doing is creating Coasters. Pioneer does not have a firmware update for this drive. I have spent over a week trying to get this drive to work with newer media, to no avail. I recommend steering clear of this drive.
