| Nothing to complain about, writes and reads virtually everything be it B-grade or top-notch quality optical media. Always results in scans that are very good and comparable to higher-priced brands such as Pioneer optical writers. I own two of these and performs quite capably without any hiccups. For the record, the two units I own have already gone through at least 1400 discs, with little or no problems/coasters (about 1-2 per 200, also dependent on media quality). Highly recommended buy.
