Yes it will write dvds. Somtimes.. More of a coaster factory than a writer. I got this one on sale for my sister turns out you must use it only on usb 2.0 she wanted to use it on her laptop. Makes as many coasters with fire wire as well . no good for dvd x copy especially. Save you money and by the best Sony you can find or any sony you can find . PS its for sale? to the first sucker I dont like I can find. Comments posted by unclemoat from United States, March 23, 2005. Rated this writer 1 of 10. |

Great burner. Burns both + and - discs. Easy to use NERO software is included. You don't have to be a jeenyus to figure it out either. The software recognizes what discs you have inserted and will burn them at the maximum (unless you choose a slower burn)possible for that disc. It is a bit large compared to my previous external Hewlett Packard burner, but the ease of use and dual burning capability make up for it. Great drive, identical to the A06, however a little bulky for the user on the go. Otherwise a great buy for somebody with multiple computers. Comments posted by Dave from United States, January 23, 2004. Rated this writer 10 of 10. |
