| Purchased 2 weeks ago (early Jan 2004). Followed forum's advice and updated everything; MB BIOS, UltraDMA card BIOS, etc. Initially used Sony +RW's for test then copied to, or reburned on Memorex and TDK +R's. Have burned 20+ DVD's with no coasters. Since I'm on the low end of the learning curve I've tried a variety of software tools; Disk Juggler, Sonic MyDVD, Pinnacle Studio 8 and Adobe Premier all work well with this drive.
