Got this drive with my new Dell PC. So far, absolutely NO problems. Been burning 4.7 +/-R and 8.5+R DL without incidents. All DVDs have been playing on my standalone DVD player without any issue and the quality has been consistently great. Comments posted by gr8dane from Canada, January 03, 2007. Rated this writer 10 of 10. |

Received this installed on new Dell 6-06. Will not write to any CD's or DVD's that I have (4 different mfg.) Will not read most CD's or DVD's written on the TSST Corp. DVD Rom installed on the same Dell Dimension. Very poor piece of equipment, I am unable to use it! Very disastisfied. Comments posted by Nancy Murphy from United States, October 14, 2006. Rated this writer No rating. |

Neither + or - DVD single layer will play on my Toshiba SD 5700 after being burned by this unit. It came with a new Dell PC. I used to have a Sony that would burn either and they would always work. Discusted. Comments posted by Joe Mason from United States, September 03, 2006. Rated this writer 3 of 10. |
