| This drive came with my computer. So far, I haven't had any problems with it. I've burned a lot of media (some good, some cheap blanks) and so far have not had any coasters or discs that wouldn't play in a standalone player. | I'm not sure why one of the previous comments (posted by singhy) stated that this burner doesn't write to DVD-RAM because it definitely does. So far I've burned 5 DVD-RAM disks without any problems. I've also burned more than 10 single-layer and dual-layer movie and data disks (on Verbatim media) without any problems either.
