Very very good writer. Have had very few problems with this unit. I got an 860SA recently and was very surprised that this newer version could not burn the media my old 755A burned without problem. Also recently purchased a DVD-player for my TV that can run dual layer media so have started to use this media. I thought my new 860SA would be the natural choice but I got a bad burn in at least 50% of cases so I decided to test my 755A - no problems! I just wish I bought more of the trusthworty 755A when you could get them . . . . Comments posted by Banzai Plextor from Sweden, December 11, 2009. Rated this writer 10 of 10. |

Great burner. Burns practically everything I throw at it. I use Prassi ONES mostly, but have tried almost any other sw out there (Acohol 120%, NERO, DeepBurner, DiscJuggler, Ashampoo, ImgBurn, CDBurner XP, etc. etc.) and it so far hasn't refused to work with any of them. Only for RecordNow MAX (not developed anymore) you need a certain patch to make it work (use Google). Coasters seem to be a thing of the past, almost; if any, it's mostly either my fault or it's the faulty media-quality. Thumbs up, would get it again anytime!
