Didn't work on my player. DVD+R doesnt seem to be the best format. Comments posted by C.C. from Other, February 05, 2002. Rated this writer 1 of 10. |

Just wanted to counter the previous rating of '2' by pointing out it's DVD+RW that are designed to work with existing players by following existing video DVD specs, like physical reflectivity and burning the bits just-so (lossless linking for forward references), to look exactly like the old DVD players expect. It's the DVD-RW/R media that requires a newer player built to read them. See list of DVD+RW compatability at: http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php and http://www.dvdplusrw.org/resources/compatibilitylist_dvdvideo.html Comments posted by Anon from Other, January 31, 2002. I have had my drive now for 2 weeks and I love it. I only wish it would read/write DVD-R. Anyone know if the DVD+R's or on the market? Check out this site www.dup-dvd.com it copies DVD's to VCD's with a ccouple of clicks. I have the unlock key if interested.. Comments posted by Guy from Other, January 30, 2002.
