| The 1140 has an IDE interface and it reads SL DVD's @ 14x and DL @ 9x.This writer is made by Lite-On but I'm not sure which model it is,the Lite-On Booktype and Smart-Burn utilities work on this writer though.Being a Lite-On it's kind of loud but it's tolerable.
