I bought a spindle of 25 and used 4. The first disk gave a write error on 80% during the burn proces. I was able to burn disk 2,3 and 4 at 100%, but playback became bumpy at the last half part of the disks. At 60%-70% de playback stops.
The rest of the 25 I leave alone and return to the store. This is pure <beep>!

Works great with Sony DRU, But NEC ND-1300A makes coasters. Media quality is good, but NEC just can't burn it correctly every time. Maybe patched firmwares from http://herrie.rpc1.org will help. NEC burns correctly only well known brands.

I have burned two spindles of 25 of these all at x4 and out of the 50 only two were coasters. An acceptable rate to me at an average of 79 pence per disc!
The first two discs I tried were coasters with Nero (5.5.15b) that came with my drive and Nero upgrades (5.5.28) but after changing to RecordNow Max everything is working as it should.
I have NOT found a computer or standalone DVD machine that they would not play perfectly in.

This media is highly incompatible with A04 and should never be recommended. All of my burned media (10 so far) have difficulties accessing the burned files and usually end up with a CRC failure after 30min. Tried with firmware version 1.30, 1.31, 1.33, 1.40, 1.41 in single or double speed. My A04 is working fine with other media from a different manufacturer.

Did not get a single disc to work, going to keep the remaining few for data use only. I would not recommend this disc for DVD use unless you know it to work on your player or can get hold of a blank to try.
No errors writing the discs, just playing them back.
Tried all speed settings, different software, 3 DVD players(Sony ??, JVC XV-S42 and Wharfedale M5) with no luck.

Very variable, 1st 100 was near 100
% OK, next 100.... 20%OK, these were replaced with new batch which are bad in last 500-700 Meg. Fill them less than 4.1G and they seem fine.
Conclusion... they are cheap.. but for me the extra cost of a good Ritek disk (like the datawrite white top 4X not had one fail yet!) is well worth it for the lack of frustration. I will not buy anymore!

Rubbish. Probably only managed to burn a couple succesfully and even those have readability problems on PC DVD, Yamada 2100 and Pioneer DV-525.

I had two packs of 10 of these 4x -R media.
The first pack burned OK - but ONLY at 2x or LESS.
Nero said it was burning at 4x , but still took half an hour!
The second pack - none burned , errors within 5 seconds of burning!

First batch I had was ok(ish) 18 out of 25 burned ok but gave dodgy playback in all DVD players. Second batch I had...only 4 burned well, absolute rubbish...doesn't burn at 4x at all, sometimes at 2x, always at 1x but loads of errors!

Yep they seem to be crappy with playback on various machines and dealer will take them back as long as they arnt burnt...try superior 4x..a+ grade quality and they worked fine
