Before I upgraded my firmware to 1.07 on my Plextor 708a these were crap. In fact I thougth I was going to throw them away. After the upgrade they are perfect. Go figure!

Verification never worked at 4x.(Nero)
The files didn't turn out Identical, checking CRC's didn't turn out either.
Burning at 2x got through verification.(Nero)
Checking Media with Nero CD/DVD Speed: Moving to the outer edge of the DVD showed trouble, and finally was unable to read it and stopped.
Reading the Data off the DVD seemed to work though.
Burnt 5 so far, 4 turned crap (Nero burnt at 4x then verification showed inconsistent files), 1 turned out okay (Nero burnt at 2x then verified).

Most movies works quite fine on my DVD Standalone... the player often freezes when trying to stop or pause the movie...
Burnt datafiles results in nonreadable discs, tried several times, seems as if only 2.99 GB is recorded... a shop on the net saled this crappy discs out for 20$ for a 100 pack... due to the 2.99GB shit..
So don't buy this crap, unless you're desperate to get cheap discs...
