It burns at 4x perfectly with my Lite-on 811S, firmware version HS0Q. I'm happy with the playback. Inkjet printable surface, works fine on my printer. No worries at all.

I sometimes go thru 2 or 3 dvd-r blanks before my sony will work with this disk. If I get a successful burn eg a movie, none of my Samsung Combo Drives will read the DVD-R. Bad Choice!!!

backed up 2 movies on 2 samplers i recieved both burn't in 13 m perfect one of the movies tried to back up on 3 other media all skipped and froze gen 2x maxwell gen 1x princo wht and 1x memorex dvd-rw look prety good to me
