Gave me lots of problems as it refused to work in LG GSA-4081B, one FreeCom and one IOMega DVD-burners (i don't know models for latter two). LG didn't get ready when disc in, FreeCom recognized but couldn't burn on it and IOMega gave up as well.
I couldn't get media code as my drive couldn't get anything out of it (drive not ready...)
Not recommending this particular media unless you know for sure it is going to work with your drive.

Using a pioneer A06 with 1.07 firmware. I bought two 25 x cake boxes of these discs. The first cake box was fine only one failure. The second cake box once I had got 7 dvd-r's in wouldn't work at all. The last 15 or so were faulty(I assume faulty as my alternative ritek media was fine and the previous cake box was fine. Beware as I think the manufacturing standards of these discs are a bit hit and miss. I will never chance it again.

I bought these from the same retailer as I bought previously fine Datawrite "classic" and was told these were also Princo dye. They weren't. I didn't know they were different until my bad burn.
The Red "classic" worked fine on Xbox/PCDVD/DVD players with no problem but the "v2" used a different dye and on my Pioneer 105 they left a strange halo type burn around the middle third of the disc. Burning the same image immediately afterwards on a Ritek v3 dye disc it was fine so the writer wasn't at fault.
Be careful when buying Datawrite "Red" that you choose "classic" or "v2" depending on which are best for you.
