The DVD-Writer i use is not listet here it is a
very new NEC/Sony product named "Optiarc(NEC)AD7173A"
=Sony AW-G173A (isn'in the list down here)
with Labelflash capabilities but i also used these
DVD's on NEC 4550A and they work Perfect on both
DVD-Burners.
I can fully recommend them

I've burnt many of these discs with mixed results. I own two burners, a Yamakawa DVR-Y08, and a Pioneer DVR-K05. The Yamakawa doesn't burn nearly as well, and uses what I'm assuming is the same speed through burning, which plays on 1/3 players I own, sometimes. The Pioneer alters it's speed as it's burning (you can see distinct bands in the burned area), and this plays on 2/3 players I own.

SONY DW-D56A is NOT BURN this media.
Don't buy this media if you have got a laptop computer which came with SONY DW-D56A DVD Writer.
SONY DW-D56A DVD Writer also not burn some media such as PLASMON1A (Silver PLM DVD-R +.7GB 8X), RITEKR05 (PHILIPS DVD+R 4.7GB 120 MIN 1-16x), ONIDTECH (White KAWAI DVD-R 1x-2x-4x 120 MIN VIDEO/DATA).

But SONY has nothing to do with those MEDIA I've received !!!
One of the worst DVD I never burned especially at the end of burning (between 4 and 4,4 Gb) lots of errors and the speed of reading falling until 2X.
Same results after updating to the last firmware (NEC 3500 AG 2.1a) and this on any DVD of that spindel.
