Really much the same as others. Was using Princo, no probs then bought these and half of them have failed the burn 1/2 to 3/4 way through. Going back to princo now.

My experience with Go tech diska is much the same as what others have reported. I was using princo with no problems then I tried some Go tech and every single one failed. As others have reported they fail about half way through. I even tried at 1x with no luck.

AVOID THESE DVD-R's LIKE THE PLAGUE! Was given a pack for birthday, turned out to be a terrible gift. Have only bothered using three, will destroy the rest. Two were used for movies, playback on two standalone players varies from bad to really bad!! Similar to other comments, 1/2 - 2/3 way through movie, breaking up, then unplayable chapters. One was burnt with a 1GB dvd slideshow, luckily plays back fine on a pioneer standalone, but then turns around and starts skipping straight away on a samsung!!??

Burned dozens of coasters until I was told the media may be the problem. First attempt at burning and just expected it to work first time. First part of the disc seemed to work ok but then the movie started to skip around and then freeze completely towards the last third of the movie. Noticed the same comments from someone else!! Tried slower burn speed to no avail.

Out of 10 disks, 5 movies were burnt OK, 2 out of 5 back-ups for Playstation 2 (PS2) burns failed (burnt at 4x speed). The same PS2 images were burnt on other DVD media (Princo 4.7 GB DVD-RW 2x) and worked correctly.

Had two successes in twenty burns, the rest froze up towards the end of the movie (last 1/3). The successful burns were ~ 3.7 GB. I tried using several programs and burning speeds.
Switched to Shintaro media and have no coasters yet.
