Bought 25 pack from Costco. Finished burning the entire spindle and had 5 bad discs spread throughout the spindle. They burn fine but when played, they will begin freezing about half way through. Tried playing on Sony and JVC players with no success. Will not even play in the burner that was used to create it. My TDK burner has the latest firmware and discs were burned at only 2x. I haven't tried at 4x but I would think my success rate would be lower. I've burned hundreds of DVDs with media IDs from Ritek, Maxell, Taiyo Yuden, Mitsubishi, Ricoh and even CMC without problems. BeAll and TDK are the only ones I've had problems with.

I don't have the paper label any more, so I don't know the UPC or country of origin. Costco's part number is 767069.
As you can see from the image, there is a bad spot about 1/4" diameter halfway between the hub and rim. I looked with a loupe and discovered there is a bit of grit holding the sandwich a little apart there.
After encountering 5 disks with this problem in this cakebox of 25, I decided I didn't want to burn any more of them.
I had been using TDKs for over a year (hundreds of them) and was shocked to encounter ths problem.

Discs did not come in an original TDK cake box. They just show a small white label on top of the neutral cake box indicatiing that the product is TDK. DVD Recorder Pioneer 520 HS does not accept 1/3 of the white printable discs for recording. Even if burned successfully some of the discs are not running properly (freezing of the picture) after 1/2 hour of running in a DVD Player. Previously used non-printable orininally packed silver TDK discs of the same type ran without any problems.

Discs came in spindle with nothing indicating they're TDK:s,but a small label on the top,in that sense the picture is different.
Burnt dozens of these TDK:s(TTG01)with silver and TDK-branded top a.k.a.branded ones.Always with great results,only a couple of coasters.
Now these printable TDK:s(TTG01)are giving me coasters as ever before(about 5 of 10).
Burner and standalone player are the same as before,I even tried those branded silver top TDK:s again and they burn and read flawlessym in my Panasonic S97.
I can't think anything else but a crappy batch of discs I've received.But as I said,this never happened with those branded TDK:s.

Bought a Bunch of These On Sale at Costco, Thought they were the same as G04 but they are not. First Cake Box seemed to burn O.K. Only a few Pixilation problems here and there that i thought was the fault of my player! Now Im not so sure, then I start getting Blotch's (spots) in the burned disk, and Whole Rings in middle of disk not burnt, started happening 1 out of Every Five, Totally Corrupting my Data, and Movies!
