I was anxious when buying these at first, as I heard so many stories about Ritek G04 discs being of lesser quality than before.
This discs turned to be outstanding in my drives, great scans, and at this price, gee....
I've burned 68 so far, no problem. I'm stocking these now as Ritek stopped G04 manufacturing.

Now that discs with the excellent Fuji dye are becoming impossible to get, I'v been forced to try other makes. After a very bad batch of DataWrite MCC discs (over 50% failure rate) I thought I'd go for these older (G4) Ritek discs.
Unfortunately, I've had mixed results. Out of 40 discs total, I've had 14 bad ones. No failed burns unlike the MCC discs, but the bad discs have a very bad speed graph in CD Speed, and when performing the speed test in my Pioneer DVD-ROM (not writer), these bad discs often have uncorrectable errors. My Cyberhome 505 also has problems playing them. The rest of the discs with a good graph are fine.
For this price, I guess this error rate isn't too bad for some people, but I prefer reliable burns.

After having great success with the Yellow Datawrites and other Riteks with the G04 dye I bought some of these. They burn OK at 4X but the error graphs in DVDinfopro are terrible. I would avoid these media. It may have been a bad batch but why take chances.

Bought these from www.blankdisc.co.uk as they use Ritek G04 dye and Ritek (but NOT RiDisc) are included in Optorite's Recommended Media list. Sadly my DD0201 writer wouldn't even recognise the disks so I had to return them for a refund.

Have narrowed down the incompatibility problem with the Toshiba SD520E.
Media only works in Toshiba SD520E if burned at 2x (with LiteOn 811S). If burned at 4x it won't work. So RecordNow will probably be ok if writing speed is set set to MIN. I don't want another coaster so I won't be checking that. I'll just keep using DVD Decrypter, where you can set the exact speed you want rather than MIN, MID, or MAX, as in RecordNow
