Purchased from www.silver-tek.com. Media code is "TYG02", but DOES NOT have serial number on the dye side near the hub in the form "GG******" where * are numbers. I had a lot of coasters burning it at 8X.

I got these for $16 shipped per 100 at Techgeek, so I'm not sure if these are real or fake Taiyos or a warehouse mistake. They were supposed to be 4x, yet Nero has the option to burn this up to 12x. I made one coaster at this speed, so dropped back to 4x and it seemed good. DVDXcopy unfortunately does not have a speed adjuster, so it keeps trying to burn at 12x which is going to fail.

Bought a second batch from Factorydirect because the first batch worked well, even though this stuff has the same item # (dv5478) it's not the identical media, different printable surface and HORRIBLE quality had to toss about 10 of them because of imperfections in the recording surface, will play in dvd drive, and my friends set top but none of them will play in the Magnasonic DVD802-2
