I Think the 1X Accu disks are great! I've burned about 75 so far with no coasters and they all burn past 4GB with no skipping or pausing. They play in all 4 of my DVD players including the PS2. These disks burn at 2X on my Sony DRU510A and are well worth it for the low price!

It burnt the ACCU's at 2x(and played just fine) on my Sony DRU500A with firmware 1.0f. Now I upgraded to firmware 2.0e and they only burn at 1x. Weird.

I recently purchased this media and experienced the same "Stuttered" playback on a Samsung N-501.
The media did however burn with NO flaws and playback was excellent on PC DVD reader. I have not tried to play the discs on other Home stand-a-lone DVD players. I do not recommend these discs for playback on Samsung N-501.

Cheap. Works well on PS2 (for movie viewing).
My Sony DVP-C660 did not play it well. Studders and plays in and out. Thought it was the 2x speed so I burnt another at 1x but had the same result. But played fine in another Toshiba TV/DVD/VCR combo. Guess it works for some players but not for others.
