The multiregion remote hack worked fine on my DVD player PAL version. You can download the working .ccf file for Sony DVD Players at 'http://www.xs4all.nl/~pbonnet/sony.zip'. I used TV remote controller shareware vers 5.5 for PocketPC (http://www.pdawin.com/TVremote.exe) to send the codes. Put the DVD Player in standbye mode and press 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 5 5. After these codes the player will turn on and say SUCCESS and will go back to standby mode (just give it about 30 sec before it shuts down again). Just repeat the same codes again, and the player is now region free. Try to reset the DVD player if does not work. Have fun ;-) | |||

I tried the 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5 method - to no avail. Frustrated, i used the (older) 1,2,3,4,5 - wait - 1,2,3,4,5 method - now it showed "Success" and plays all regions. (I started with the player on and the tray open.) | |||
