It is slightly different to what is recommended for othe models. On menu (no disc in tray) press 16719 - Press "OK" the "hidden menu" shows up (showing region 1). - Press "OK" on the remote a few times until the number 0 apears (do'nt try pushing 0 it doesnt work on this model!) - Press exit (to exit) (Although I didnt have any other region DVD but I guess it'll work with other rigions as well) | |||

REGION CODE HACKS FOR MAGNASONIC PLAYERS Magnasonic DVD 800 / DVD 800-4 1. Method 1: press "Menu" 2. press "1", "6", "7" 3. select desired RC Method 2: turn the player on (without a disc inserted) 4. press "Menu", "9", "Open/Close", "5" 5. enter RC or press "Mute" for Codefree Magnasonic DVD 802-2 / DVD 803-2 / DVD 805-2 / DVD 808-2 1. turn the player on (without a disc inserted) 2. press "Menu" 3. press "1", "6", "7", "1", "9" 4. select the RC (0=Codefree) If the player doesn't accept the changes, do the following: 5. turn the player off 6. press and hold "Play" 7.
