LG 4950 VCD Hack Turn on the player with no disc in. Wait until the player displays 'No Disc' Press pause on the remote Enter 1 4 7 2 on the remote The display should show '01 47' (May be different) Press the up arrow 3 times The display should show '04 fd' (May be different) Press Program 6 Program 6 The display should show 04 ff Press enter (the display should flash) Press Return Press power off, leave for a couple of seconds and then power back on. Voila! NB. Some other hacks say to press Program 6 Program 5 instead of Program 6 Program 6. This does enable VCD but can leave the unit showing everything in a horrible shade of green. | |||
