Description (from the manufacturer site) | |||||||||
The Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity is making the next generation of DVB-T reception possible. The handy TV stick can be connected easily to your laptop or PC using a 2.0 USB port and makes it possible for you to watch TV on your computer without the need for extra wires and cables. The brilliant new Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity is breaking the mold thanks to a few of its groundbreaking new functions:
Diversity mode In Diversity mode, the signals picked up by the two provided rod antennas combine to form a new, improved signal. This is finally making it possible to pick up better reception in most of the fringe DVB-T service areas without having to install a roof antenna or having to buy other accessories, such as active antennas. Likewise, using the Diversity function in DVB-T service areas allows for interruption-free reception while traveling - ideal for long train rides or for entertaining children in the back seat of your car. Dual-tuner mode If the strength of the signal you are receiving is already sufficient, the provided Terratec Home Cinema TV software deactivates the Diversity mode, instantly making two tuners available in one device. Now you can receive two programs at the same time - or you can watch one program while recording another. |
