The card features a complete DVB receiver which can receive, digital free-to-air TV and radio programs and can provide high-speed internet access (if or when available).
The incoming DVB transport stream is delivered to the PCI bus at a speed of up to 60 Mbps. An optimised software filter driver manages data processing downstream by filtering up to 255 PIDs concurrently. An MPEG-2 software decoder and TV/Radio application is included for reception of digital TV and radio broadcasts. The TV and radio application includes features such as automatic channel parsing and record/playback capabilities. PayTV applications (if available) can be supported by an optional CI extension. More than one card can be installed in one PC to receive/record various channels simultaneously. The card comes with drivers for Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP ™ An easy-to-use multilingual data management utility is provided to adjust channel and filter settings and to monitor incoming data.
