Description (from the manufacturer site) | |||||||||
The REALmagic DVR is a PCI add-in-card for Windows PCs that allows you to create your own flawless-quality digital video. DVR encodes pure digital video into MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, the world standard for broadcast-quality video. DVR delivers consistently perfect quality by performing all audio and video recording and playback in hardware. It simultaneously encodes and decodes MPEG video, so that you can see the results of different encoder settings in real-time, while the MPEG is saved to your hard disk. It\'s also compatible with DVD-RAM, DVD+RW, CD-RW, and DVD-R drives. Older video capture products for PC\'s were prohibitively expensive, or else produced fuzzy, \"postage stamp\" video. REALmagic DVR has solved all these problems. With its astonishing low price, videotape footage can be captured on a standard Windows PC with no visible loss of quality. |
