DGMPGDec DGIndex is an MPEG2 decoder suite. It is used to decode MPEG2 streams from such sources as DVD VOBs and Blu-ray, captured transport streams, dvb/digital/hdtv streams, *.mpg, *.m2v, *.ts, *.m2ts files, etc. Based on DVD2AVI and MPEG2Dec. Can also demultiplex to video and audio files. Former known as DVD2AVIdg MPEG2DECdg Decoding Fix.

I can't actually review it because Windows 11 will not let me run it, reports it contains a virus and blocks me from running it and deletes the executable. Would love to try it but I can't

Nonsense! Does not contain malware! Useful software which you could use in many things like Xvid encoding using AutoGK etc. Replacing its older version of DGMPGDec Index with this newer one(making sure the exe name is still exact and then install Avisynth 2.60 and newer version of Vdubmod(renaming exe if needed). Those once difficult DVD which crashed or failed to index might be processed correctly now. I also placed MediaPlayer HC(renamed it to one AutoGK uses) in the folder too along with subtitle updates and made myself a lovely portable using Boxapp.
