I was just wondering the pro's and con's of installing Internet Explorer 7. Has anyone had any problems installing it or has it caused any problems?

The WGA check may cause some trouble, but besides that, one of the easiest MS upgrades in a long time!

    hi,
on other boards there been several postings about problems...!!
    1. some of the problems have been because of specific software issues like JAWS ...
there a readme file at M$ website.. that goes into some programs that IE7 may have issues with....
    2. because of poor preperationss, ie: not disabling currently running programs, etc... before installing...
    3. been reports about various toolbars that maybe implemented in IE6 and the IE7 has diffilcuty with transferring them over to ie7 ....
    4. a few little problems where there no correlation....
myself i am going to wait awhile... unitill M$ iron out some the issues... IE7 was a rush job... so I figure wait a few week and they'll implemented various fixes in the newer downloads.... but that me...

may want to look at some of the other boards and see for yourself some of the issues...

I have not been able to customize the tool bars to my satisfaction in IE7.

In IE6 I have all my tool bars on the same line and in a specific order (file toolbar at top left, icon toolbar at top center, address at top right, no GO button, no status bar), this seems to be impossible with IE7.
