1. Connect the unit to your TV 2. Turn the unit on without a disc 3. Press the small "Setup" button on your remote 4. Select the "Initial settings" menu and press enter 5. Select "Options" without entering 6. Press the "On Screen" button (it's the very last button on the remote) 7. The current region code setting is displayed on the screen 8. Press on your remote: 1 4 7 0 (0 stands for region code 0 = code free) To check the correct region code, do steps 1-7. Works possibly as well for MCR-940 (not checked). | |||
