Copied from the Mustek DVD-PL8C70 hack. http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=Mustek+DVD-PL8C70 1.- Power on the DVD player. 2.- Open the tray. 3.- Key in 9735 on the remote. A secret menu should appear which lets you change the region as well as showing you the firmware revision and other settings. 4.- Close the tray to exit the menu. The "9735" code also works without having to open the tray, but there must be no disc in the player for it to work. Credit for this goes to G2M for the Mustek PL8C70 hack that I've found to work on this player as well. I can confirm that this works. I chose Region 0(presuming to be region free) managed to play a region 1 DVD on what was shipped as Region 2 player. | |||
