	turn on the unit Press SET UP (until Icon show up). Press FF ( >> ), FB ( << ), Next( >>1 ), Previous key (1<< ) Region code shows up Change the code to 255 using right Arrow. I used this hack and everything is working now as a multizone device

	Macrovision Hack ---------------- 1) Turn on the unit . 2) Press SET UP Twice (until Icons show up). 3) Press FF ( >> ), FB ( << ), Next( >>1 ), Previous key (1<< ) 4) Region code shows up (Number on right side, 1 is hard to see). 5) Arrow Down once and 3001 will show up for Macrovision on. 5) Change the code to 3000 using right Arrow to disable Macrovision. This hack will disable Macrovision on the Coby TF-DVD500.

	The same hack that changes the region code on the Coby TF-DVD500 also works on the Coby TF-DVD450 wide-screen model. The Macrovision defeat hack also works the same way on the TF-DVD450. In both cases you MUST use the remote - the 'on-unit' controls will not work for the these hacks: Using the remote; -Turn on the unit -Press 'SET UP' twice to get to the main set-up screen -Press FF (>>), FB (<<), Next (>>I), Previous (I<<) -The region code (1,2,etc.) appears in the upper right corner of the Set-Up screen -Use the RIGHT navigation arrow repeatedly until "255" appears, this sets the unit to 'Multi-zone' or region-free operation. To defeat the Macrovision function: -Repeat the above steps -When the region code number apears use the 'Down' navigation arrow to show the number "3001" (Macrovision ON). -Press the RIGHT navigation arrow and the number changes to "3000" (Macrovision disabled) I have used both of these hacks and my TF-DVD450 is working just fine as a region-free non-Macrovision player.
